C4.007 - Occipital Tuberculoma

Case not moderated.

26 year old girl, a known case of tubercular meningitis on AKT4, Benadon 40 mg, Levepil 500mg bd, Wysolone 30 mg OD and Shelcal 500mg, came with complaints of blurred vision with glasses . On examination her BCVA was 3/60 in both eyes. Fundus examination showed bilateral disc edema. Diagnosis – Papilledema with Ethambutol toxic optic neuropathy both eyes with intracranial occipital tuberculoma Advised to stop tablet Ethambutol. Over next one year vision improved to 6/36, 6/12 RS both eyes and discs became pale.
